Dear Families
What a massive few weeks we have had here at Fatima - our PFA Trivia night, School Production, 2024 Prep orientation sessions, Bike education, Art awards, 3/4 Swimming and now 5/6s. Thank you to all within our community who support us with events and helping us to make them such a success for our school!

Camino classroom visits
It has been a delight visiting and sharing my journey of the camino with our students. They have shown such curiosity with the story, images and artefacts. Their insights and deep thoughts truly displays the openess that Mary witnessed in the children of Fatima in Portugal.
One of the artefacts shared is a diamond and no, unfortunately it is not a real one (one of the most common questions asked, haha!) I have spoken to the children that it does symbolise strength and love, two qualities that are important as a Principal. Our spiritual guide gave this to us along the way, reminding us that our work in a school can be referred to as a diamond at times...it involves high pressure and through the darkness and persistence, the light does form and the vision for the school does take shape, shining bright like a diamond!
And to conclude, can you believe that there is only four weeks left of our 2023 school year - how is that possible! Lots still to come so make sure your read the newletter and class news.
I must say we are looking forward to Advent - this joyous season of preparation! During our last four weeks, we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus, with prayer, meditation, and more. Celebrating Advent is a meaningful way to prepare our hearts for Christmas. If you are free, we'd love for you to join us for our Advent liturgies that will be held on Friday @ 2.40pm in the hall from next week.
Go well
