Personal Projects Exhibition
Personal Projects Exhibition
Last Thursday the Grade 10 Personal Project Exhibition took place in the Auditorium during the day for students and in the evening for parents and friends. The exhibition was an amazing insight into the gifts, talents, interests, passions, and personalities of our Grade 10 students. Clearly, many students had developed significant knowledge and skills that they were keen to share with others.
The personal project is a fantastic opportunity for students to inquire into a learning area of personal interest by following along the path of investigation, planning, taking action and reflecting. Students develop approaches to learning skills; they learn how to including self-management, research, thinking, communication and social skills. Since our students have been inquirers and learners in their personal project, teachers, students and parents were also encouraged to be inquirers and learners by asking questions of our students as they explored their projects.
Well done to those students who put in their best effort with their project. Thank you to all our supervisors, mentors and parents for giving their time to guide and support our students as they undertook their personal project.
