School leadership for 2024

Last week our Secondary Students gathered to introduce our Year 12 badged student leaders. Following this occasion, these leaders dedicated a day to immerse themselves in a Leadership Day, where they delved into the heart of leadership- understanding “why” they lead and “what” success will look like.

Inspired by the teaching of Jesus, our Student Leaders embraced a strengths-based approach, recognising and harnessing their unique gifts to maximise their impact. This introspective journey serves as the cornerstone for their leadership path.

In the coming weeks and terms, the lessons from this day will be shared and integrated throughout the entire school community. The key message to come from our Student Leaders is the importance of everyone in the Calrossy community being respected, included, and feel like they belong.

We are eager to witness the growth and impact of our Student Leadership as they embrace servant hearted leadership, guided by the example set by Jesus.

Calrossy HSC Student success

Calrossy TAS students have done it again. Special congratulations to the following Calrossy Year 12 students who have been nominated for the Shape 2023 Exhibition in 2024.

Our Textile and Design students are Alex Hayes, Charlotte Bedggood, Charli Nixon and Grace O’Mullane, while Harriet Nolan (Double Bed) and Will Ramadan (Sun Lounge) have been chosen from Industrial Technology.

This is in addition to Sam Ison being nominated for the Encore Concert and both he and Alistair Scott being selected for the Bravissimo Concert.

Congratulations to their teachers Ce-Anne Brennan, Jono Staines and Naomi Turner for these achievements, representing the best of HSC students in NSW.
