SMCC  STUDENT SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Piper Devine competed in the QLD All Schools Track and Field and placed 1st in the 400m (U17) and the 800m (U17). So, she is the fastest QLD U17 female in the 400m and 800m. She now qualifies for the Australian All School National Titles at Perth in December. We wish Piper the very best at the Nationals Titles.

  • Matthew Fox is number 1 in Australia for BMX from his recent BMX competition in Shepparton. What an amazing achievement.

  • Hayden Carr has been selected into the U22 Junior All Star QLD International team and will be travelling to Malaysia in December to compete. Hayden is the only representative from Cairns. He recently returned from the Australia National Championships where he captained the team to a bronze medal. Congratulations Hayden and good luck in Malaysia and enjoy the experience.

Next game will be Wednesday 16 November 3.45pm against MacKillop Catholic College on the St Mary's Oval. It would be great to see the college community come down and support the boys.

Reminder: Training is Tuesday afternoons 3.15pm-4.30pm on the SMCC oval.

Please ensure you bring the appropriate footwear, headgear, mouthguard, and water bottle. Any questions please see Mr Slatcher.
