Congratulations to Howen from 6AS for competing in the above championship, and coming 4th in a very competitive and tight finish in the 80m hurdles. He also made the final of the triple jump. The students at school were able to watch the live stream and loved cheering Howen from a distance.

Thursday 9th November

Homework - weeks 5 & 6

Students have been informed that this fortnight, they are only required to do the two hours of reading, including the two session read aloud to a parent. Diaries are still expected to be given to classroom teachers, however their will be no Seesaw submissions or Mathletics tasks to be completed.

Year 6 Graduation - Dress Code and Mobile Phones

As our Year 6 Graduation looms closer, Year 6 teachers have been discussing expected dress codes with the students. Students should be dressed in appropriate clothing for the evening and wear something they will be comfortable in for the dance and ceremony. Students have typically chosen to wear neat , semi- formal clothing, such as collared shirts, slacks and dresses that reflect this as a special occasion.

Parents are welcome to bring phones to photograph/film the ceremony but are kindly reminded to not publish photos of any children other than their own, on social media or any other digital format.

Students are welcome to bring their own devices to take photos outside Box Hill Town Hall, however we ask parents to remind them of the above expectation. Students are asked to hand their phone to parents once they enter the building.
