Year 1 Edithvale Wetlands Excursion
On Tuesday the 21st of November all Grade 1 students will be visiting the Edithvale Wetlands for our Inquiry Unit on Water.
Payment is now open on QKR. Please ensure you pay by Tuesday the 14th of November so that your child doesn't miss out. No late payments will be accepted as numbers need to be confirmed with the Edithvale Wetlands and the bus company.
Year Two Maths
3D Shapes
Students have loved participating in hands-on Maths this week. The focus has been on recognising the properties of 3D shapes. Students enjoyed building 3D shapes with magnetic blocks, and creating a shape city.
Location and Transformations
Students loved using coding robots called Bee Bots last week! They used directional language to describe positions and movements including turns. Students enjoyed programming directions into the BeeBots to guide them to different locations.
Year 2 Incursion Reminder
Year 2 Minibeasts Incursion "The Zoo Comes To You"

By paying for this incursion you are consenting to your child attending.
Payment due on Qkr by Tuesday 7th November 2023.
On Tuesday 14th November, the Year 2 students will be participating in an incursion at school that investigates a range of ‘Minibeasts’. This topic links in with their Inquiry unit for Term 4. The cost for this excursion is $18.00 per student. Please ensure that both the payment and permission is received by the school via Qkr no later than Tuesday 7th November 2023. Should you have any further queries, please speak to your child’s teacher.
Participating at the F-2 Assembly
Last week, some of our Year 2 students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of roles at the F-2 assembly. This was a great experience and the students demonstrated terrific confidence.
Footsteps Dance
Students have been participating in the Footsteps Dance program. They are learning a new dance each week and are enjoying the upbeat music.
Year 1 Writing
The Year 1 students have been learning about comic writing. This has allowed for some real creativity from our students!
