ELC- Year 2 Sports Day

It was great to see so many smiling faces from both students and families as our children rotated through the Sports Day events. Having parents and families to share this special day with us was fantastic and created a beautiful atmosphere. 

For South Plympton and Brooklyn Park F-2 students coming together with the ELC children was a blessing for us and our community. 

Students from both our 3-year-old classes and preschool children participated in activities; jumping, crawling, throwing, climbing, rolling (and many more were) all highlighted. 

Children dressed in a splash of their house colour to support and cheer for their peers. The preschool children demonstrated a high level of skills that they have been practicing throughout the semester during their Physical Education lessons.

It was a busy and at times, overwhelming morning for some of our little friends however I am so proud of all the children, as they demonstrated such confidence and resilience, they tested themselves, tried new activities all in a new environment. 

A big thank you to our fantastic staff who supported, guided and occasionally participated in an event, along with the Health and PE Department who coordinated the day for us.

It was so great to see the confidence grow and their joy in crossing the finish line during the running races.
