This award is presented to Isla for becoming a more confident student within the classroom. Isla raises her hand more often to contribute to class discussions and is now taking on more responsibility with tasks around the room. I am so proud of how far you have come Isla and keep on believing in yourself!
This award goes to Medina for the fantastic effort in learning her poem this week. Medina has worked hard to improve her fluency and expression when reading her poem in preparation for our Poetry Slam. Medina, you read your poem with accuracy and great expression, well done!
This award goes to Sienna for demonstrating the HEART value of excellence. With focus and attention to detail, Sienna has applied her knowledge of poem structure to create a wonderful variety of poems. Sienna, the hard work you have put into your poems make them a pleasure to read. Well done!
Congratulations Cooper for always looking out for your friends and seeing that no-one is left on their own. Keep up the exceptional work!
This award goes to Amir for the wonderful recount he wrote about our Space Dome Incursion. He used paragraphs and time connectives to structure his writing and help it flow. Amir then published his work in a visually appealing way. He should be very proud of his work.
This award goes to Tommy for being an outstanding Digitech class representative. He carries out his responsibilities without reminders and is reliable and trustworthy. The support and patience he shows his classmates is to be commended, particularly whilst using our Edison robots. It has been great to see you building your leadership skills, Tommy!
This award goes to Alisha for the improvement she has made in her writing. Alisha has developed her ideas and improved her sentence fluency, making sure that her writing makes sense. Keep up the great work, Alisha.
Congratulations on a great couple of weeks Oscar. I have been proud to see an improvement in your focus and intent to produce good quality work in Term 4. This was particularly evident in your “Dream” writing and your input during Reading lessons. This is a great attitude to take into secondary schooling.
Bella is to be congratulated for her creativity during Writing this week. Her imagination ran wild as she developed a short writing piece inspired by a dream she once had. It was wonderful to see your learning be sparked by such a simple idea, Bella!
This award goes to Mia for consistently displaying the HEART Value of Excellence. In Writing this week, Mia wrote a well planned persuasive piece. She carefully developed each of her arguments with supporting evidence and included a variety of persuasive devices. Wonderful effort Mia! I am so proud to be your teacher.
This award goes to Charlotte for her wonderful effort and creativity in Visual Arts. Students in 1/2 are exploring relief collages where pieces are lifted off the paper rather than stuck flat. Charlotte designed a fantastic vase of flowers and worked hard to create a variety of flowers. Fantastic work Charlotte!
Congratulations Luca for your excellent effort and attitude in Performing Arts lessons, always trying your best. Very well done!
