Chess Tournament

This month, five members of the Chess Club at KSC were invited to compete in the State Chess Finals at St. Oliver Plunkett Primary School in Pascoe Vale, after achieving qualifying scores at the Western Regional tournament in May.

A big congratulations to all of our competitors, including Jake (12L2), Saheb (8L2), Giriraj (8L2), and Kevin (9W2). A special shout-out as well to our top performer Harry (12L2), who ranked 61st out of the 300 of the top secondary school players in Victoria. Many thanks to Mr. Matt DeLeon for all of his incredible work supporting the club this year, as well as our team manager Jessica (11B2).
