Miss Carly Epskamp

Today we focus on SWBPS. Our students have been working hard to earn stars in the jar for being safe, respectful and doing their best.

Lavina L 6C

Hi, I’m Lavina and today I’ll be telling you how I got a blue star for being respectful.

Since the blue, purple and yellow bands were out I clearly wanted to get a star and win many prizes for our school. I got a blue star for being respectful. I was the first one to finish in 6C. I started helping many people in our school like taking them to sick bay, playing with children nicely or if they needed help. I am also a Literacy Ambassador so I help out with all the current preps as well as the new preps coming to DPS next year. I was very determined to get a blue star, and now I have! I am so proud of myself! I am looking forward to getting more stars at the end of this year.

Rohan N 3Q

I received a "Be Your Best" star because I earned all ten punches on my punchcard and gave my best effort in all learning areas. It made me feel great because I was the second person in 3Q to receive a star. When I received the star, everyone celebrated my success, and it was a wonderful feeling. I really enjoy being a part of 3Q and earning positive stars.

Ruchen 3Q

I received a star because I always do my best when learning and I am very good at it. I was new to Doncaster in Term Three, and I can't believe I became the first star winner in 3Q. When I received the star, everyone clapped for me, and I could tell that 3Q was really happy for me.

Cooper H 2S

I worked very hard to change my behaviour and get a star. I felt very excited when I got the star!

Isabella M 2S

I was the first person to person in my class to put a star in the jar. I was being my best because I was walking to the floor quietly and when I was at my table, I was quiet. I felt so happy when I put the star in the jar.

Yusra PW

I was being respectful by sharing my things and sitting nicely on the floor in my classroom.

Luke PW

I was being my best and being respectful by sitting on the floor nicely and looking after the school by picking our rubbish.
