Sustainability News

"We are delighted to share some exciting updates from our school's commitment to sustainability. Our students have been actively involved in various initiatives that not only enrich our school environment but also contribute to the well-being of our planet. Let's take a moment to celebrate their accomplishments!

1. Planting the Gingko Tree:

One of the most cherished additions to our school's landscape is the Gingko tree. This majestic tree, known for its ancient history and remarkable resilience, now stands as a symbol of growth and sustainability. Planted by our dedicated students, along with a Smoke Bush, it reminds us that by nurturing the environment, we can foster strength and longevity in our community.

3. Preparing for the Melbourne Pollinator Corridor:

As a part of the Melbourne Pollinator Corridor project, our community have been diligently working to clear the nature strip. This project is vital in providing a haven for our pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, to thrive. By creating this corridor, we are actively contributing to the health of our local ecosystem and ensuring a future where pollinators can continue to flourish.

These initiatives reflect our school's commitment to sustainability, education, and environmental responsibility. We are proud of our students' dedication to making our school a greener and more eco-friendly place.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the students and parents who have played a role in these projects and the teachers and staff who have supported and guided them along the way. Your hard work and passion for sustainability are truly making a difference."
