What’s the Buzz? 

This week our Foundation students completed their 16 week social skills program What’s the Buzz.

 

We’ve had a lot of fun and learnt about being kind, showing empathy, winning and losing, telling the truth, managing big feelings, and how to be a good friend.

Caring for Ourselves Well Enough

As a father, caring for yourself is an important part of being there for your family.

In this set of tips, Dr Bruce Robinson talks about the importance of looking after yourself as a dad. 

 

Top tips for taking care of yourself, to be the best dad you can be for your kids and family:

  1. Structure self-care into your day
  2. Keep fit
  3. Get out into the sunshine
  4. Keep connected to your friends
  5. Make time for yourself
  6. Take control of your mindset and focus on what you can control.
