St Peter’s School - an empowered faith community to enrich the world.
Last week we celebrated Mother's Day - all the wonderful women in our lives who are so special. Thank you to our Year 1 students for leading us in a liturgy to show our gratitude to these women who inspire us to be the best.
We were so lucky to have 3 glorious days at Camp Weekaway at the beginning of May. I had the pleasure of accompanying the students and other staff. We had many opportunities to challenge ourselves in the activities- bike riding, crate stack, archery, raft building and the Maze. It was also an opportunity to build relationships.
I thank staff- Ms Russell, Ms Zhang, Ms Monica and Ms Rashida- for their energy, enthusiasm and commitment to ensure each student was able to participate.
Last week we heard the news that Pope Leo XIV had been elected by his fellow cardinals. We offer our prayers to His Holiness as he continues the work of the Bishop of Rome and successor to St Peter.
If a child arrives even 10 minutes late each day, then they will miss 50 minutes of learning each week or 8+ hours (more than 2 full days) of learning each term. We have noticed that some children are consistently late which impacts not only their learning but those in their class.
Please ensure your child is at school before 8:50am.
