Dan Warlow Performance @ Pilgrim School
On Monday our Year 1-4 students enjoyed an entertaining performance by Christian kids' music artist, Dan Warlow. Held at Pilgrim School in Aberfoyle Park, they enjoyed live music, Jed the puppet, magical illusions and an inspirational message.
Thank you to Pilgrim School for having us and sharing this fantastic experience!

Year 1/2 Earth and Space Sciences - The Solar System and celestial objects
In Term 1, the Year 1 and 2 classes embarked on a learning journey to grow their knowledge about Earth and Space. The key concepts in this unit were to recognise Earth as a planet in the solar system and to identify patterns in the changing position of the sun, moon, planets and stars in the sky.
Our students had the opportunity to expand their vocabulary, pose and respond to questions, identify patterns in the sky and make observations. Many meaningful and valuable connections were made, especially when students had the opportunity to discuss statements and questions and listen to others’ ideas and perspectives. Students annotated diagrams, participated in investigations and made predictions. It was great to learn about First Nations people and their use of the night sky to inform care for Country.
In Week 10, our classes visited the Adelaide Planetarium. We learnt about night and day, phases of the moon, space travel and the lunar surface. We learnt what it would be like to experience zero gravity, watch meteors shoot across the night sky, witness Earth from space and get a close-up look at the sun.
We are so proud of all our students' hard work in developing science skills and growing their knowledge about Earth and Space!

Mother's Day Morning Tea
Our South Plympton campus was brimming with beauty last week as we celebrated our Junior and Secondary School mothers! From morning tea celebrations in the EPAC, to activity-filled classroom visits, to mini photoshoots, we hope our Mums felt blessed.
We are so grateful for the love and sacrifice these ladies demonstrate every day. Thank you to our parent representatives who organised the stunning spreads and decorations!
