Cyber Safety and Digital Wellbeing

We are excited to share that your child will take part in Inform & Empower’s Cyber Safety & Digital Wellbeing program. This means they will participate in four engaging and interactive live-streamed incursions. Developed by qualified teachers, these incursions are designed to help create safer and more positive online experiences for your children. Inform & Empower is endorsed by the eSafety Commissioner as a Trusted eSafety Provider.

Parents will be given resources to support conversations with your children at home. You will receive a concise “tip sheet” after each session that outlines what your child learned about in class and how you might open up these important conversations at home.

Incursions will focus on:

• healthy digital habits
• critical thinking
• digital citizenship
• cyberbullying
• digital literacy 
• safety and security
• consent
• upstanders

On Thursday 14th August we are hosting a Parent Seminar "Raising Kids in a Digital World" with Martin McGauran & Carley McGauran. More information will be provided closer to the date. We strongly encourage all parents to attend regardless of the age of your child. Save the date!
