Classroom Snapshot-
Year 4/5
This semester, our Year 4/5 students have been actively engaged in learning a range of mathematical concepts. A key area of focus has been developing their understanding of decimals. They've explored how the base ten place value system extends beyond whole numbers to include tenths, hundredths and thousandths, helping them represent parts of a whole.
The students are proud of their progress and would love to share their learning with you through vocabulary definitions and photos that showcase their understanding of decimals. They have also incorporated their knowledge of the greater than and less than symbols.
