Our students took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 22nd May. 

At 12pm, our students tuned into the live feed of Aura Parker reading this year's book.

A big thank you to Lee Hodge who also hosted a reading in the library at lunchtime.

We love having you learn alongside us in our classrooms. A big thank you for volunteering your time and energy to support our students! 

Here are a few friendly reminders to ensure a smooth and productive experience:

• Keep noise down: Please help us maintain a calm learning environment by keeping noise to a minimum and encouraging students to use their 'inside voices.'
• Follow instructions: Please follow the instructions provided by our teaching staff, and model these for our students, to ensure activities run smoothly and effectively.
• Keep students calm: Assist in keeping students calm and focussed during activities and transitions.
• No younger siblings: For safety and focus, please do not bring small children with you when volunteering.
• No hot drinks: To avoid spills and to ensure the safety of our students, please refrain from bringing hot beverages into the classroom.

In order to assist in our classrooms in Prep - Year 3 at Holy Spirit you must have completed a Classroom Helper workshop. If you were unable to attend a Classroom Helper workshop earlier in the year and would like to assist in the classroom, we are offering one more workshop session at the beginning on Term Three. Child Safe Training

In order to assist at Holy Spirit in any capacity you will need to complete our Child Safe Training. This must be completed each year.

Assembly

Assembly will be held each Friday at 2:30pm in the school hall. All dates for Assembly this term are on the Holy Spirit School Calendar.

Library

Our students will visit the library each week and borrow. Students need to bring their library bag to school on their library day to borrow. The timetable for this year is below:

Library borrowing has begun for the year.

The library will also be open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8:35 - 8:50am.
