Wellbeing

We are commencing an exciting new initiative that aim to foster positive education through the exploration of character strengths. There are 24 character strengths that encourage a growth mindset and empower students to make positive changes.

Our first focus will be on gratitude. Gratitude is more than just saying "thank you". It is about recognising and appreciating the good in our lives and the people around us. Studies have shown that cultivating gratitude can lead to increased happiness, better relationships, and overall well-being for both children and adults.

To kick off our focus on gratitude, we have planned a special family activity. This activity will provide a wonderful opportunity for families to reflect on what you are grateful for and to share these moments with each other. More details about this activity will be shared in the coming weeks.

We are enthusiastic about the positive impact this initiative will have on our students and their families.

Together, let us nurture a culture of gratitude and positivity that will benefit each of us.

Warm regards,

Melina James
