Dear Parents,

Athletics Carnival

Our annual Athletics Carnival is taking place tomorrow. This event is a highlight of the school year, where students participate in various athletic events and showcase their talents. Thank you to Mrs Kellie Folley and Mr Ben Schonell for their tireless efforts and behind-the-scenes planning over the past months to ensure the success of this event. Their dedication is greatly appreciated. Also, to all the staff who have assisted and will ensure that the day runs smoothly.

Thank you to the parents who have offered to assist us on this day. This would not be possible without the extra assistance.

Student Academic Reports

Our teachers are currently assessing your children's progress and preparing their academic reports. These reports will provide a comprehensive overview of their achievements and areas for improvement. The reports will be sent home on 28 June 2024. Please take the time to review these reports carefully. In the reports teachers’ will outline what the students are achieving and areas that require improvement.

Parent-Teacher Interviews

Following the distribution of the academic reports, we will be holding the Parent-Teacher Interviews. These meetings are an excellent opportunity for you to discuss your child's progress with the teachers, ask any questions you may have and collaborate on strategies to support their learning journey. Further details about scheduling these interviews will be provided soon.

Parents and Friends Meeting

We are excited to invite you to our next Parents and Friends (P&F) meeting on 3 June 2024. This meeting is a wonderful opportunity for you to get involved in our school community and assist with upcoming events. Your participation is invaluable in helping us create a supportive and enriching environment for our students.

English and Maths Night

Immediately following the P&F meeting, we will be hosting an English and Maths night. This event will showcase how these subjects are being taught in 2024 and provide practical tips on how you can support your child's learning at home. We encourage you to attend and gain insights into the innovative teaching methods being used in our classrooms.

Your involvement in these events not only helps strengthen our school community but also plays a crucial role in your child's education. We look forward to seeing many of you at the P&F meeting and the English and Maths night.

Communication via Compass

All school notes will now be sent via Compass, including excursion notes where parents can give permission. This platform will streamline our communication and ensure you receive all necessary information promptly. Additionally, we will require parent volunteers for excursions. Your involvement greatly enhances the experience for our students and we appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Your involvement in these events not only helps strengthen our school community but also plays a crucial role in your child's education. We look forward to seeing many of you at the P&F meeting, the English and Maths night, and the Athletics Carnival.
