A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Dear Parents and Carers,

Catholic Schools Week

The theme for Catholic Schools Week is 'Pray with Hope'. This aligns beautifully with the mission of our Catholic Schools; to provide each student with the opportunity to learn about the Catholic faith and become literate and numerate. By striving to provide a quality education we are giving your children a hope filled future. This morning I had the pleasure of attending mass at Mary Help of Christians Church in Tamworth with our student leaders and Mrs Canham. Monsignor Wilkes, parish priests and representatives from our nearby Catholic Schools joined together to pray for our wonderful Catholic Schools.

Thank you to the families who were able to make it to mass last Sunday to celebrate World Children’s Day, the arrival of the Message Stick in our community and the beginning of Catholic Schools Week.

Thank you to Michelle Cortis who put this slideshow together of the children enjoying the celebrations after mass. They had a wonderful time!

Tomorrow we have an open morning from 9.30am-10.30am to show new families around our school. Please tell your friends there is no need to register; just turn up.

On Thursday we welcome Quirindi Preschool for a visit with our current Kinder students.

Enjoy this special week!
