NORTHERN PENINSULA DIVISION CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS:

On Wednesday 29th May, 14 students competed in the Northern Peninsula Cross Country at Hastings Foreshore. All students ran extremely well and achieved excellent results. Congratulations and well done to the following students:

• 10 Years Girls – Chelsea L (4/26) - 6th, Emily S (5/05) - 14th 
• 10 Years Boys – Emerson M (4/19) - 3rd 
• 11 Years Girls - Skye A (5/08) - 4th, Lilah B (6/11) - 10th
• 11 Years Boys - Archie M (6/11) - 2nd, Lennox T (5/08) - 5th, Arlo D (5/08) - 6th, Jai L (5/11) - 13th 
• 12/13 Years Girls – Ryder M (6/11) - 4th, Macey E (6/11) - 16th 
• 12/13 Years Boys – Archer L (6/10) - 16th, Levi G (6/10) - 17th, Ethan H (6/09) - 28th

Finishing in the Top 10, 8 students will now be competing at the Regional competition on 

Wednesday 12th June; good luck to Chelsea, Emerson, Skye, Lilah, Archie, Lennox, Arlo and Ryder.

Special mention to Elvis P (6/09) who qualified for the Divisional competition, but unfortunately injury prevented him from participating.

CONGRATULATION - ELVIS P (6/09)

Early in Term 2, Elvis attended the trials for the School Sport Victoria Under 12’s State Hockey team. 75 other children attended the trials over 3 weekends. As a goalie, Elvis was competing against 6 other goals for the 1 position in the team. At the end of last term, Elvis was informed that he was selected as the team goal. As a member of the State team, Elvis will be competing at the National Championships which will be held in Cairns at the end of August. It will be great to report back on Elvis' experience in September.
