Student Leaders Report

Hello Kismet Community, 

On Monday 20th of May, the JSC and School Captains attended the school council meeting along with Mrs Tabone. We presented a slide show on the work and experiences we have had this year. It was a very proud moment for all of us as we were able to show our leadership qualities. 

Something that has also been happening every Tuesday, is golf lessons for the 5/6’s . An instructor from the Goonawarra Golf Club has been taking the 5/6’s through the different techniques of golf. Also, on Thursday the grade 5/6’s had a Space Dome experience that took place in the gym. This linked to their Inquiry unit on Space and the Solar System.

Today, the Robotics Club along with Mrs TJ, attended a competition with other schools around Sunbury called ‘The Lego League’. We are looking forward to the results on how they went. 

Art with Mrs. Tabone is getting more exiting! We have already had some of our visiting artists come into every Visual Arts session and they have begun some projects with us that will be showcased at the art show.
