As we prepare to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, we pray that we also can be people of love:

Baptism of Samantha and Suzanna

As reported in this newsletter last week, our two students and sisters Samantha and Suzanna will be Baptised into the Catholic Church tomorrow. As you can imagine this is a very special occasion for the girls and their mum Damira. As you all know, this family has experienced some challenging times of late with Samantha's health challenges. I know your thoughts and prayers will be with the girls tomorrow.

Interschool Sport News

Netball - Mixed

The mixed netball team had an amazing time. Everyone tried their best and we pulled through. We played Holy Name and we had a tough battle. Every time we got a goal everyone cheered! It was a great game. - Jacob

Netball - Girls

The girls team in netball did really good. Although the girls team lost, we saw a great improvement in both teams. Our goal this year for netball is to reach to the grand final. So we hope to continue this netball journey!- Onella

Soccer

It was great fun but very tough. Everyone had a great time against Holy Name. - Connor

Parent/Teacher Interviews

As indicated last week in our newsletter, please be aware that our Parent/Teacher interviews will take place next term in week two on Wednesday 24th July. Further details will follow from Antoinette as we get closer to the date. As has been the case these past two years, our students will be supervised by non classroom teachers whilst class teachers are meeting with parents and guardians.

Our Parents and Friends group met Tuesday of last week and have proposed the following events:

Christmas in July (Christmas movies/hot chocolate/pop corn) after school - Thursday 25th July

Father's Day Stall - Friday 30th August

Father's Day Raffle - week leading up to stall

Coloured clothes day - last week of term three

Lunch Orders - New Menu

Foundation Class 2025 Enrolments

Enrolments for our 2025 Foundation Class will close in just under three weeks on 25th June.

Welcome Back Yash

We welcomed back our 2023 Year Six student Yash, to see his name engraved on the plaque denoting the recipients of the "Sr Gabriel Good Samaritan Award". The award goes to a graduating student who has shown the qualities of the Good Samaritan during their time at Sacred Heart.
