Design & Technologies

It’s been all fun, games and technology learning in Design and Technologies this week.  

Foundation students continue to explore force and motion by creating things that fly. 

This week they made rockets. 

Junior students have been exploring that tablets and using paint to edit photos.

This week we break open the Sphero robots and have fun coding them to make them move.  

The Middle area has been using ‘Makey Makey’ to transform controllers into anything that conducts electricity. The biggest hit was making music and key touch from banana’s and play dough.  

The Senior students have been using Micro Bits and Hummingbird to create movement and light that form parts of robots. The students code an instruction and the MicroBit brain makes the Hummingbird makes the movement, light or sound reaction.
