Congratulations to the following students who have been accepted into the Library Committee for 2024 and who received their badges at the assembly this week:

Throughout the year these students will assist in running or helping with keeping the library a fun and engaging place. The Library Committee have already met and planned some great events for the term. 

Chess:  Our weekly chess competition will start today at the MYPEC.  The big chess will be available for you to test your skills as well as regular games. After that, chess club meets weekly on a Wednesday in the Library Read area.  This is an opportunity to play and learn, leading up to the House Chess Tournament in Term 2 Week 3. All levels of ability are welcome to come to chess club! 

Minecraft: From Week 5 of Term 1 join us for a weekly Minecraft challenge to build a world that will be the focus of a tournament in Week 5 of term 2.  This will be in the IT Room on Tuesdays. 

Art Fun:  Join us in week 6 to play with watercolour and pens to make cards or bookmarks.  In week 8 we have some weaving experts coming to run a weaving workshop.  There will be a form sent out via TEAMS for you to enrol in these activities.  Watch out of notices on TEAMS and Simon.
