School Swimming Programs

Next week is the start of our whole school swimming program. Our year 4 students will begin with their water safety and swimming program and then year 5 and 6 in the coming weeks. Prep - Year 3 students will do their program in term 4 where they will continue developing their swimming strokes skills. If you haven’t responded to QParents, please have a look as all the information regarding the program is on there.

Sporting Achievements

Well done to our swimmers who competed at the Oceanic Swimming Carnival. Our students did a great job on the day representing Tally and did themselves and our school proud.

Congratulations to Noah and Toby who were both selected in the Oceanic swimming team. The boys had an outstanding carnival finishing top three in all their races. A special mention to Noah who was crowned Oceanic age champion on the day. Both boys will now compete at the South Coast Swimming Carnival next week. Good luck boys.

Congratulations to Charlotte who was selected in the Oceanic netball team. Charlotte will now compete at the South Coast Netball Carnival next week. Good luck Charlotte.

We also have a number of students competing in district trials this week. Good luck to all our students.

Friday Sport

In true tally style our first week of Friday sport was a wash out on Friday with the weather not being kind to us. This didn’t stop us participating in year 5 team building games and challenges that Dwyer narrowly took out. Hopefully we are back out and playing this Friday.

Upcoming District Trials

We have more district trials coming up in the next few weeks. Students need to nominate for these sports by writing their name down outside my office.

Term 1:

Week 10: Hockey

Term 2:
