ART NEWS

Our students continually impress us with their positive attitudes and the energy that they bring to their artwork!

After a few weeks of exploring the deep sea, our students have completed their underwater scenes! It has been so wonderful to see the many different perspectives on the one topic, with all 575 of our Delacombe students completing this learning task. Students used a combination of oil pastels and water colour paints to create their vibrant pieces of art and have explored the concepts of movement and layering within their artworks.

A special mention to our Prep students who have embraced the Art room with such joy! We are so proud of the Preps and the way in which they are already demonstrating our school values of kindness, respect, resilience and growth. In five short weeks, they have produced two large pieces of artwork, and worked on developing their fine motor skills through safe scissor use!

How lucky we are to be surrounded by so many amazing students!
