Division Swimming

Congratulations to our 9 swimmers who competed at the Division Swimming Carnival last week. For many, it was their first time competing in swimming sports. There were lots of successes on the day with students setting new Personal Best times. Ewe also had 4 relay teams which was a first for Delacombe Primary School and the students did an amazing job in these events and were understandably exhausted by the end of the competition. There is already talk about competing next year by many of the younger swimmers. Thank you to all the parents that took ensured their children could attend this event. A special thank you to Kellie who helped organise the students on the day.

Congratulations to Charlotte R who qualified through to the Greater Western Swimming Primary Championships to held in Horsham on Friday 22nd March. We wish her all the best and can’t wait to hear how she goes.

Tag On

It is great to see many students using our Tag On system. Blue Cook Kawirr has leapt to an early lead this year with the most number of Tag Ons in the first week. Any students with existing tags can simply start using these agian. If your child hasn’t received a free Tag then see Mr Storey or Mrs O’Brien before and after school. Lost or damaged tags can be replaced at a cost of $2.
