Charlie & The Chocolate Factory 

Congratulations to the students who secured roles in our 2024 Musical. Over 100 students from the performing arts community across Mazenod and Avila auditioned. The competition was fierce and that is thanks to the work the students put in preparing for the auditions.

Rehearsals are every Sunday in the Founders’ Complex commencing at 9am.

Mission Action Day Concert 

Wednesday 20th March

One of the great Mazenod College traditions is to support the work of the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate (MAMI) and the Oblates by raising funds and awareness for those in need. This is the focus of our annual Mission Action Day.

The Music Department contributes to this cause by holding a concert for all families. This year's Mission Action Day Concert will be held on Wednesday, 20th March in the Provence Centre commencing at 6:30pm where we will be showcasing some of our Ensembles.

Bookings are NOT required and entry is by gold coin donation. In return for your donation, you will be provided with raffle tickets for our raffle which will be drawn on the night. Prizes over previous years have included Bunnings Vouchers, Holey Moley family passes, Amor Mexico food voucher, and a Jumbuck Charcoal Grill & Smoker. We are still finalising this year’s prizes, but rest assured there will be something for everyone.

Ensembles and Orchestras 

Ensembles have returned for 2024.  Click here for Ensemble Timetable  If your son is not sure if he is in an ensemble, he should speak with his music teacher.

Timetables

Term 1 timetables are now available on MazCom.  We are still making changes so we ask if you could remind your son to check MazCom on a regular basis to ensure they are following the most recent timetable.
