Electrostatics in Science
Year 9B
First photo is Morgan Boyack (year 9) calmly enjoying approximately 200,000 Volts.
Students in 9B got up close and personal with electrostatics courtesy of the Science department’s new Van Der Graph generator. Whilst the voltage is high (200,000V), the electricity is static so no current is flowing. It’s current that kills!
