ST MARY'S SCHOOL-WIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR APPROACH

This term, we are implementing a House Spirit acknowledgement system to implement across the school. Students will be awarded a token to put on their individual boards. Once 10 tokens have been achieved, this will equate to 1 House point. 

At the end each term, the House Team with the highest points will receive an award. This will be negotiated within their House Team and could be anything along the lines of free dress, disco afternoon, a movie, hot chip lunch, a zooper dooper.... just to name a few options.

We are hoping to raise the profile of our House Spirit  over the next 6 months. This is the first step! As a school, we aim to do more multiage activities within our House Teams and this begins with our Science Inquiry Day later this term. House Teams are not just for sport!

Class teachers will begin to roll this acknowledgement program out to students over the next week and we will begin awarding tokens as of Monday, week 2.
