'Connection to self, school & community'

Welcome back to Term 3! 

We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break. It has been wonderful to see our students return with such enthusiasm and energy for the term ahead.

We’ve already had a busy and exciting start with our Course Counselling Day, held on Tuesday, 29th July. A big thank you to all families and students who attended and engaged in the important process of selecting electives for year 10, 2026. We appreciate your ongoing support.

 

Interschool Sports

A massive congratulations to our year 9 students who represented Berwick College at the regional round of Girls AFL this week. Our AFL Girls played extremely well being undefeated across the day and winning the final against EMC 37-1. 

A huge congratulations to all involved! We now look forward to watching the team compete at the State level later this term.

Looking ahead, we would like to wish our year 9 boys and girls representing Berwick College in interschool Basketball on August 12th the best of luck! 

We extend this luck to our year 9s representing Berwick College in the Dance Stars Nationals on the 13th of August. 

 

Important Dates 

  • National Science Week will be from the 11th-15th of August. Please make sure you keep an eye out for the fun activities that will be running from our Science Team to celebrate. 

  • O’Donoghue and Flynn House Day is the 21st of August, we look forward to celebrating our House spirit with a fun-filled day of activities. 

Year 9 Homegroup Competition 

We are bringing back our Homegroup Competitions! Get ready for Wordle Wednesdays. Which one of our homegroups will be able to crack the code each week? Will 9G take out the win again or will another homegroup climb to the top?

Our winning homegroup will be able to choose from a sausage sizzle or delicious pancake breakfast. 

 

Borrowing of sporting equipment at break times (Year level offices)

From now on, borrowing sports equipment (such as balls, bats, etc.) will no longer occur at the PE Office or Foyer. Year 9s can visit C1s to borrow equipment.
