KINDERGARTEN

Each week in Kindergarten, we dive into the world of words through a rich mentor text. These stories spark discussion and discovery as we explore grammatical features, story structure, vocabulary, and the many creative elements of writing. The children are always incredibly proud of their work — and for good reason! Their confidence and creativity continues to bloom as they learn to express their ideas in written form.

To help guide their progress, we’ve introduced Writing Goals. With support from their teacher, each child selects a goal that they want to work on — whether it’s spacing between words, using punctuation, or adding descriptive details. Once they master their goal, they choose a new one and continue their journey.
