Hand Foot & Mouth

This week we have recieved notification of a confirmed case of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease in Year One. The main symptoms of hand, foot and mouth disease are fever and tiny blisters on the cheeks and gums, inside the mouth and on the hands and feet. The virus is very contagious and spreads through coughs and sneezes, as well as contact with the fluid inside the blisters. Families should monitor for symptoms. If a case is confirmed, then children should stay home until all blisters have dried and please notify the school.
