Supporting the learning environment
All parents/carers/visitors who visit during school hours are required to report to the school office upon entering school grounds. This includes when students arrive late, are picked-up early, dropping off items of clothing/lunches/bags, etc. The staff in the school office will contact the teacher/student on your behalf, if required.

Late pick ups - Children who are not collected by 3:40pm are sent to the office and parents contacted.
Children who are not collected by 3:45pm or their parents cannot be contacted, are sent to Team Kids for Outside School Hours Care, and can be collected from there.

Volunteering at SKIPPS
All volunteers are required to have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Before your first volunteer session at SKIPPS, please ensure you:
- Register as a Volunteer & complete the Volunteer Induction
- Present your valid WWCC card to the School Office for verification when signing in.
Extra Curricular Activities
At SKiPPS we are excited to provide lots of opportunities for students beyond the classroom to explore and develop their skills and passions. Some of these are offered by our school staff, some by our parent community and others by external providers. Supporting Each Other: The SKiPPS Community Pantry 🥫💛
The SKiPPS Community Pantry is stocked with non-perishable food and household items, available for any families in our school community to take from, free of charge, at any time. Whether you're in need of a few essentials or just want to top up the lunchbox, the pantry is there to support you—no questions asked.
The pantry is located next to our lost property racks, just off the quadrangle.
We also warmly welcome donations to help keep the pantry stocked.

The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) is your big screen experience to a closely curated program of the best films of the year. With inspiring and bold programming, original stories, important voices, and films you can't see anywhere else.
MIFF presents the most talked about films of the year with world premieres, award-winners and hotly anticipated titles from Cannes, Berlin, and Sundance. Many films will be shown for the first and only time in Australia. This year’s festival will screen over 275 titles from 70+ countries and over 50 languages.
There's special events, global talent, filmmaker Q&As, industry panels, XR experiences, MIFF Awards and more events at the MIFF Festival Hub. Plus, MIFF's Family Films, feel-good movies that spark imagination and joy – perfect for kids, teens and the young at heart.

South Melbourne Football Club V Auckland Football Club-Free entry for SKIPPS families
The South Melbourne Football Club is excited to welcome all families from St Kilda Park Primary School to the South Melbourne FC V Auckland FC soccer game on Wednesday 13th August at 7:30pm at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park.
Free entry can be obtained by advising staff at the entry gate that you are a family from St Kilda Park Primary School.
