A message from the Principal

Every four years, all Victorian government schools participate in a formal School Review process. It’s a time to pause, reflect and ask: How are we going? How do we know? and Where to next?

At SKiPPS, this process is something we genuinely look forward to. It’s an opportunity to take stock of all the progress and achievements from the past four years, dig deeply into our student outcomes and other data, and gather insights from our most important stakeholders, our staff, students and families.

With all of that information in hand, we’ll be working with a panel of external reviewers to map out a clear, ambitious and achievable plan for the next stage of our school’s improvement journey.

We want to hear from you!

There are two key ways we’re inviting our parent and carer community to be involved in this process and we’d love for every family to take part. The more feedback and ideas we gather, the better informed our plans will be.

1. Parent/Carer Community Forum – Wednesday 13 August at 6:00pm

We’re hosting a relaxed and welcoming Community Forum next Wednesday evening in the school staffroom. It’s a chance for parents and carers to share their thoughts about our school, the things we’re doing well, and the areas we should focus on in the years ahead.

2. Parent/Carer Survey – Share your thoughts in your own time

If you’re unable to attend the forum, we’d still love to hear from you! We’ve created a short online survey that captures your thoughts on what SKiPPS does well, what you value, and where you believe we should grow.
