Message from the

Principal

Dear Families,

School Crossing Campaign

You may have noticed the growing media interest in our campaign to have our School Crossing Supervisor reinstated. We are advocating for improved traffic safety measures, including speed humps, flashing lights, and clearer signage. Thank you to all who have written to the local council to express your concerns. I would also like to acknowledge the advice and expertise of CESL in communicating with local media and supporting me through this process. We will continue to advocate strongly and hope to see positive action soon.

Learning Conversations – TOMORROW!

Thursday 8th August - PUPIL FREE DAY

We hope you’ve had the chance to read your child’s report, celebrate their achievements, and reflect on areas for growth. Learning Conversations are an important part of our assessment and reporting process, offering valuable insights into your child’s progress. We encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to engage with your child and their teacher.

Senior Playground Announcement

Our St Therese's Community Collective (formerly P&F) met last night and are excited to announce the installation of a new Senior Playground in Term 4! This is a fantastic achievement by the committee and the wider school community. Please support our Term 4 Colour Run — all funds raised will go directly toward this new equipment.

Thank you for your continued support and for the trust you place in our teachers, support staff, and leadership team.

Principal’s Award

This week's recipient is: Eadie

I would like to congratulate Eadie on all her hard work and progress this year.  Her teachers are so proud of everything she has achieved.

Supervision Hours (Repeat)

Please note the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many, many children on the grounds prior to this time.

For the safety of your children, I am asking that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30 am.
