A big congratulations and thank you to the Foundation students, staff and families who last week helped celebrate 100 days of school for the students. They have definitely aged gracefully throughout those 100 days but the teachers looked like they have aged 100 years. 100 days of knowledge and skills is able to equip our students for a fantastic 2nd half of the year. The students participated in some celebratory activities, enjoyed a parade and assembly and were presented to the whole school with their buddies in the afternoon while also celebrating a special birthday for Jack. They still have many hundred day milestones left of their school journey and we congratulate them all on their growth so far. Looking forward to many more milestones together with this crew.

We will be conducting our 'Book Week parade on Friday 22nd August from 9.00am!' we encourage students, staff (even younger siblings)to dress up inspired by characters and stories that spark their imagination!
The term 2 break provides an opportunity to get that outfit ready.
We can’t wait for an adventurous day!
Celebrating Student Achievement in the Australian Mathematics Competition
We are proud to share that our Years 3 to 6 students recently took part in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) — one of the most respected mathematics challenges in the country.
The competition encourages students to use critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving to tackle a wide range of maths problems. This year, our students showed fantastic perseverance and enthusiasm as they worked through the challenging questions.
We commend every student who participated for their positive attitude and willingness to take on a new challenge. It was inspiring to see students thinking deeply, trying different strategies, and showing real resilience.
📄 Certificates and results will arrive in the coming weeks, and we look forward to celebrating individual achievements once they are received.
In the meantime, we want to acknowledge the effort, courage, and mathematical thinking displayed by all our AMC participants. Well done — you’ve made our school proud!
We were very lucky to arrive at Landy Field bathed in sunshine and no wind (it definitely hasn't been the same this Friday) - a winter aths carnival meant it was a chilly start but ended with a warm afternoon. The conditions allowed for a successful and smooth day and we were so well supported by our parent/carer helpers. There was a focus on our school values of achievement and teamwork and the students working towards their personal best and working together.
It was great to see our house colours represented with face paint, hand printed t-shirts and as always a range of tu-tu's! A big thank you to Mr Baker for his organisation, our staff for their support on each event, our parent/carer helpers for assisting on events, our supporters cheering loudly and most of all a thank you and well done to each and every students that participated!
Last Friday as a school we come together to celebrate our Foundation students 100 days of school and we were also able to celebrate Jack's 3rd Birthday. Jack celebrated his birthday last Tuesday and was spoilt from our students, staff and parents and carers with many hugs, pats and walking companions. Jack always enjoys visiting some classes, some daily walks before and after school and during lunch and recess breaks and seeking out dropped lunches in the yard.
The Year 3 students are back this term participating in the Intergenerational program at Ryman. This week's session focused on building connections through sharing stories and many conversations over some games.
