Music Therapy

On the evening of Saturday December the 9th, there will be a performance at the Southbank campus of Melbourne University celebrating and showcasing the Melbourne Disability Music Scene.

During this concert, there will be performances from Dr. Melinda Smith, the Bearbrass Asylum Orchestra, Iris Kennedy, Melbourne Youth Orchestras’ Adaptive Music Bridging Program and the University of Melbourne Disability Allstars Band. 

“Come and celebrate the talent and diversity of musicians with disability in the City of Melbourne with us! This concert brings together three generations of performers to share their talent and love of music. From your favourite pop songs, to marches, to new compositions created for this event, there’s something for everyone in this celebration of music, creativity and disability.”

It would be a great opportunity for our students and families to witness and connect with local musicians with disabilities!
