All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Good afternoon families,

It has been a sad week, three of our staff members have had funerals for their mothers.

Please keep Mrs Barron, Mrs Passante and Mrs Quigley in your prayers.

The library is now closed for the year but if you have any library books at home please send them into school.

Years 4, 5 and 6 have all been on excursions this week and all the students have had a great time and also learnt something along the way.

Swimming training started this week and will be on again next week.

Swimming lessons for P-2 have been on this week and thank you to all the parents who have helped at the pool.

Gaga pit

The gaga pit has opened this week and has been a huge success. Year 3 ES have written a class poem and I have shared this with you.

Plus it keeps you healthy and fit!

Thank you in the Garden

Frank and Mr Wood had the students who have helped in the garden all year for a pizza party in the garden this afternoon. Some of these students made the dough and pizzas, others provided live music and Frank and Thompson fired up the pizza oven and cooked up a feast. Parents who have helped on weekends and school holidays were also invited. It was a great celebration for the students who work in the garden in their own time, and to the families who help out over weekend and holidays. A huge thank you to you all.
