What's On In Foundation

Questacon

Foundation children were so excited to begin a term of Questacon. During these weekly sessions, children work collaboratively with a partner to solve a variety of math problems. These puzzles and problems cover all strands of mathematics and are engaging and hands on. Students were seen counting, measuring, building and adding. This is a fabulous way for them to link previous knowledge and retrieve learnings from topics that may have been covered earlier in the year! 

Colour Fun Run

The Colour Fun Run was definitely lots of fun! All the students came to school in their whites and were ready for the hit of colour to come their way. They all laughed as they ran around the oval and squealed with enjoyment  as they ran through the ‘colour’ stations. They tried so hard to get as many colours as they could on their white t-shirts. After their run, they cheered on their amazing Grade 6 buddies. When it was their turn to run together, there were big smiles, happy giggles, and lots of colourful fun!
