Thu 13 June | EMR Cross Country - Yarra Glen Racecourse (selected Yr. 3 – 6 students)

Wed 26 June | Manningham Division Girls AFL Day - Zerbes Reserve (selected Yr. 5 & 6 students)

HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY

On Tuesday 23rd April we will be holding our annual House Cross Country Competition @ Milgate PS for all the Yr. 3 – 6 Students. The students will represent their Houses and encouraged to wear their House Colours. The students who are 8, 9 or 10 will run 2km and students who are 11, 12 or 13 will run 3kms. The event will start at 9:15am and will finish by 12:15pm. The students will run in the following order:

11yr old Boys, 11yr old Girls, 9/10yr old Boys, 9/10yr old Girls, 12/13yr old Boys & 12/13yr old Girls.

Parents are more than welcome to come along and support their students on Tuesday 23rd April from 9:15am – 12:15pm @ Milgate PS. The event will start & finish on the bottom oval.

HOUSE SWIMMING

On Wednesday 27th March, we held our annual House Swimming Competition at The Croydon Memorial Pool. It was so pleasing to see so many students having a go, pushing themselves and getting into the spirit of the day. There was something that catered for everyone from swimming events to fun events. Many thanks to all the Yr. 3 – 6 teachers, parents that assisted and Mrs. Collins on making the day so successful. Once again well done to everyone and the results were as follows:

Roberts ~ 1st Place 351 points
McCubbin ~ 2nd Place 272 points
Streeton ~ 3rd Place 254 points
Boyd ~ 4th Place 210 points

EMR SWIMMING

On Friday 22nd march we had 9 students compete at Eastern Region Swimming at Aquanation, Ringwood. The students all performed outstandingly well and the results were as follows:

TEMPLESTOWE DISTRICT SUMMER FINALS

On Thursday 28th March both the Girls & Boys Softball Teams played in the Templestowe District Softball Final. The teams played some terrific softball and were a credit to Milgate. The boys played against Warrandyte PS, but unfortunately lost 27 – 17 and were Runners Up. The girls played against Serpell PS and won 18 – 15. The girls will now go on and play in the Manningham Division Finals against the winner from Doncaster District. Good luck girls and well to everyone this season.
