Captains Corner

This week and including the last, our school has been really busy.

Yesterday the 5/6's competed against other schools in a soccer tournament, with the boys coming 5th (4/6 games won) and the girls’ winning 2/5 games.

Of course, this means unfortunately we didn’t win but, we are proud to say we gave it our all!

On another note, last Friday we received a lot of gold coin donations towards the Dolly Day Foundation. Our school was buzzing with blue, which was a great sight to see, so a big thank you to all students, parents, and teachers.

Walking into the school we’re seeing A LOT more people riding and walking to school which is fantastic. These small things can make Woodend a cleaner place.
