Tangaroa Blue Foundation - Victoria’s container deposit scheme

Aitken College is participating in Victoria’s container deposit scheme to try and reduce the amount of plastic drink containers ending up in landfill and raise money for Tangaroa Blue Foundation.

There are two ways the College Community can support this initiative:

1. Take your used drink bottles (Figure 1) to a deposit station and donate your refund to Tangaroa Blue Foundation by the using the – Charity Number: C2000009783

or by downloading the Tangaroa Blue Foundation unique barcode (Figure 2) to scan at your local refund point:

2. Students can deposit drink containers that they have purchased from the school canteen at the deposit station located next to the canteen.
