P.E. & Sport

Term 1 P.E. News
On Friday 1st March Viraj, Annie, Queenie and Steven headed to the Monash Aquatic Centre to compete at the Monash Waverley Division Swimming Carnival. I would like to acknowledge and congratulate these very talented swimmers for the level of dedication and sportsmanship they displayed. We are very proud of you all!
Last term was a busy term for our Grade 5/6 students with interschool sports and the 10 day swimming program. We also saw our students take part at the Oakleigh District Summer Gala Day participating in Basketball and Kanga Cricket. The students spent a great deal of time preparing for this and as a result achieved some impressive results with a couple of teams through to the semi finals. We are so proud of your dedication and sportsmanship and hope this momentum carries through to other areas of your school life as the year progresses.
Grade 3 - 6 Cross Country
Last Friday we walked down to Fregon Reserve for our annual Grade 3 - 6 Cross Country Carnival. Our students have been preparing for this in their weekly P.E. lessons and the positive growth mindset, determination and improvements in their endurance was great to see.
Well done to the following students who will progress through to the District Cross Country Carnival who will represent St Peter’s on 6/5/2024, we wish you the best of luck at this event.
