Year 6

This week, our Year 6 students had their very first buddy session with Kindergarten and what a wonderful afternoon it was!

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and a few nervous butterflies at the beginning, but it didn’t take long for friendships to start forming. The Year 6 students showed fantastic leadership as they introduced themselves, helped their buddies feel comfortable, and joined in games and activities together. 

This buddy program will continue throughout the year and is a special opportunity for both grades to experience. Kindergarten students gain confidence and a sense of belonging, while Year 6 students develop leadership skills and take pride in being positive role models within our school community.
