Year 2

Over the past few weeks, Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed exploring a variety of engaging texts, including Welcome to Country, Peggy and Where the Wild Things Are. Through our book studies, students have been developing their descriptive writing skills, learning about circular narratives and expressing their creativity through some amazing artworks inspired by the stories. 

In Mathematics, students have loved collecting information and creating their own graphs, proudly sharing and interpreting their results with the class. 

Year 2 also reverently hosted the Ash Wednesday Liturgy, leading our school community in prayer and reflection. It has been a wonderful fortnight of learning across all areas!
