The week was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the magic of stories and encourage a love of reading across our school community.
Thank you to everyone who helped make our Book Week celebrations such a success!

Wear it Purple 2026
Wear it Purple Day!
Last week at JJ we celebrated this day by hosting some Break 2 activities for all students and staff to enjoy. There was music and some fun activities to celebrate this important day of inclusion.
Wear It Purple Day - a global movement founded by students at Burwood Girls High School in 2010. This day is an opportunity to reflect how we foster safe, inclusive and empowering environments for LGBTQIA+ youth, students and staff.
This year's theme, 'Colours of courage', speaks to the many different forms of courage shown by LGBTQIA+ young people, allies and communities every day.
