Dear Families,

We are looking forward to an exciting day of learning and adventure for our Foundation and Junior Classes as they embark on their Geography excursion to the Koala Park and Churchill Island. The bus trip alone will be an experience for our students, as they travel together, share the excitement of the day, and discover more about the world around them.

We extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful volunteer parents who will assist with the excursion. Your time, support, and enthusiasm help make these experiences possible for our students, and we are very grateful.

On the same day, our Middle Classes will be venturing out on a Science Walk to Erewhon Park. Along the way, students will be collecting rubbish to gather data for a science research activity. It is wonderful to see our students learning beyond the classroom while developing an understanding of their local environment and the importance of caring for our community. These opportunities allow our children to explore, question, investigate, and connect their classroom learning with the world around them.

Looking ahead to next week, we are very excited to hear about the wonderful adventures of our Senior Group, who will be attending camp from Monday to Wednesday. Camp experiences are often some of the most treasured memories we create throughout our schooling journey. There is something very special about stepping outside the familiar, embracing new challenges, building friendships, and sharing experiences. We cannot wait to hear all about their adventures and the memories they create.

It is wonderful to see so many opportunities for our students to learn, explore, challenge themselves and create lasting memories. These experiences are such an important part of school life and help our children grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.

We wish all our students and staff an enjoyable and enriching time over the coming weeks.
