2026 Knight's Premiership Gala Day
On August 13 our 13's Rugby League boys had an outstanding day at the 2026 Knight’s Premiership gala day at Kamilaroi Oval!
They secured convincing wins against the combined Ashford/Bundarra/Tenterfield team and O’Connor, earning their spot in the final.
Despite injuries and playing with only 12 players, they showed true grit to defeat Holy Trinity 24-18.
Well done, boys – an incredible effort and a proud moment for our team. Special thanks to Mr Lennon for coaching and supporting the boys throughout the day.
North West Secondary Girls Cricket Trials

On August 19, the North West Secondary Girls Cricket Trials were held in Tamworth, showcasing some incredible talent and sportsmanship. We are thrilled to announce that Hollie and Jessica have been selected to represent the North West Cricket Team.
We can't wait to see them shine on the field and represent our community with pride. Well done, Hollie and Jessica – the future of women’s cricket is bright.
HSC Dance Practical

Basketball Under 15s Regional Final
What a powerhouse performance by the IHS U15s boys in the regional final against Oxley. After a nail-biting first quarter with IHS up just 12-10, our team came together and dominated the next three quarters. The final score: an incredible 83-22 victory!

Netball Under 15s Girls Regional Semi-final
Congratulations to our U15s Girls Netball Team on their fantastic 31-17 win in the regional semi-final at Quirindi on August 26. Despite a slow start and tough showering rain in the last quarter, the girls showed great resilience and smart play, shortening their passes to secure the victory.
A big thank you to Ms Willcocks and Mrs Scott for their dedication in training and supporting the team. Next stop – the regional final.
